62.

Happy Friday! The work week is over...in a few hours :) and I'm so excited! Do you all have any special plans this weekend? We don't, well not that I know of. I know we'll have our date but other than that it should be pretty relaxing :) I did not lose any weight on Wednesday, but I did lose .2 pounds yesterday! I am 277.9! I'm really hoping to lose, or at least not gain, any weight this weekend. I'm ready to be done with these numbers , come on body! Let's get to 275 and below!
I am still doing TTapp every other day, and just added doing light weights for my arms. I know some people have said to change up the work outs, but when you're doing TTapp, you're only supposed to do TTapp. It said you may do light walking if you want...but it's 100+ degrees here....no thanks.
How are you doing with your diets? healthy eating? or just living with your thyroid problems? Let me know and have a great weekend!

Until next time :)

  1. Molly, Happy Friday! I'm so proud of you! At least you're losing, slowly but surely. I've gained another 2 lbs. this week - yikes! I think I'd better rethink my diet, and start adding some weights to my daily walks. I'll continue to keep you posted. It's definitely a challenge, but you are giving me so much hope and encouragement - thanks!!! I hope you have a great weekend, too! I'm looking forward to your next post! Jean :)

  2. I'm going through a medication adjustment right now that started about 9 months or so ago and is about to make me nuts. My original doctor increased my levothyroxine twice when my yearly test results came back low. I started experiencing symptoms of hyperthyroidism (heart racing, inability to sleep, hot flashes from you know where, etc.), so she dropped me back to my original dosage and added Cytomel. Then she retired and I scrambled to find a new doctor. It took a few trips to get it through to my new doctor that I was still having symptoms of hyperthyroidism and now I am dropping the Cytomel and will be tested again soon. I haven't had to have my medication adjusted in several years, so this has been an experience. I'll be happy when this silliness is settled.

Glad to see that you are still doing so well on your weight loss. Every day is an adventure when your body is so unpredictable. I'd never even heard of TTap before until I read your posts. Sounds like it's definitely working for you. Keep at it!

  3. Due to some unforeseeable circumstances, I have had to resort to drinking tap water for the past 2.5 weeks. We usually get spring water at the towns spring dam but did not have a car to get there. I didn't want to buy spring water because we are watching the pennies. Anyway, I can tell a difference in my body with the town water - has fluoride added - I want to sleep more. This has convinced me that I need to stay away from the fluoride as much as possible, at least in drinking and food. Hubby is going to get water jugs filled at the spring today! Yea! I know it will take a little time to get this out of my system but I look forward to not sleeping so much.

Keep up the great work Molly! Are you losing inches with the T-Tapp? You are most likely building muscle and that would result in less weight lost. You are an inspiration!

  4. I've was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 2 years ago and recently found out I have Hashimoto's - fun fun :-( You seem to have everything under control -- which appears to be the key. Is there an aerobic component to the TTapp or just the muscle exercises? I've got a regular exercise routine going but it is getting more and more difficult to maintain my weight. I don't need to lose, but would love to be able to maintain :D

    Good luck on your journey!

  5. Jean -- Thank you, and don't worry about the 2 pounds, you can get them off again! Weights on your walks sounds great! let me know if it helps!

Cerridwen -- How frustrating! I'll be praying for you that dropping the cytomel helps! I've gone years without being able to stay on a dose! I'm always being bounced around. Ttapp is definitely amazing, if you ever get the chance I recommend you try it!

Linda -- oh no! I actually can't stand the taste of tap water now! If it comes out of a faucet it has to be filtered three times, and even then I have some difficulty. Buying bottles of water costs so much, which is lame because I Just got on SmartWater and I can see such a difference in how I feel when I drink it. I'm so glad your hubbs is getting some water! I hope you start feeling better soon!
And I did lose quite a few inches at the beginning! I'm not losing as much right now but I hope that changes soon!

Carma -- I'm so sorry :( With TTapp there is aerobics in there definitely, it doesn't involve a lot of moving but it kicks your butt! I have the TTapp More DVD, and the workouts on there are amazing! I highly recommend it, if you're able! Thank you!
