Okay I'm so excited to start on Monday, and it looks like with facebook and my blog we have a confirmed 13 people who are doing the diet and 5 still on the fence. (But we'll get them) ;)
Every Monday we'll all post our losses on here, if you want to just send your weight loss that's fine, if you want to send measurements that's great too!!!
And don't ever worry if you have a bad week, we all have them and we're all here for each other!

ReplyDeleteLorrie - THAT'S TOTALLY WHY I START ON MONDAYS! Because I am SO BAD on weekends so it helps me keep focused!
I'm excited! I may get off to a slow start; I had strep all last week, and yesterday was my first day without a fever but my throat still hurts really bad. I don't think I'll be able to work out for a little while more, but I'll definetly be eating from the thyroid diet so that should do something.

Jenny, NO WORRIES! We all understand about getting sick so don't worry at all. Besides, just doing the thyroid diet is awesome too!
Are you going to TTAP also? I would love some place where I could get an accountability group for beginner tappers :0)

ReplyDeleteLol. ...Not gonna lie. We just got back into town and the thought of starting a diet made me depressed. But after seeing my name front and center in your blog gave me the push i needed. So now um kinda excited again!! Also do you know if cottage cheese good for you when on a diet? My husband says yes.

ReplyDeleteOk ladies I am starting the Thyroid Diet tomorrow. I do have the book. Sounds like a great eating plan, that along with my "exercise program" should be great. Will post how many pounds lost!!!

ReplyDeleteWeek One - five lbs gone. Now I have to clarify. I had lost 25 lbs initially - pulled a hamstring and couldn't exercise for weeks, so gained 10 back. So the 5 lb loss, now is getting "back down to" the initial 25 lbs. So any weight loss beyond that for me will be the icing. :)

Week Two: 7 lbs. gone (3 more to my original 25 lbs. weight loss). Exercise increase to 1 hour 15 minutes daily. Then the rest is easy sailing (I HOPE).
